Daniel Ganchev

I'm a historical researcher focused on ancient history of the Balkans (Antiquity and Middle Ages). In my work I explore and often prove my theses through precise quotations from ancient authors and authentic historical sources written more than 1000 years ago. I am familiar with the theses of modern academic scholars, but I do not rely solely on them but also on ancient authors authentic words. As part of my work I have also researched historical topics related to European history after the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71.

My academic education includes a Bachelor's degree in Bulgarian linguistics and history and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems. But history is my passion and I have attended numerous academic lectures on Balkan and European history at Sofia University.
